SEO Ranking

SEO ranking is search engine ranking logics (algorithms) favour webpages dedicated to a specific topic (ie webpages that contain a large number of topic-specific terms) above webpages containing information on a range of topics.

It is a program that searches documents for specified keywords and returns a list of the documents where the keywords were found. Although search engine is really a general class of programs, the term is often used to specifically describe systems like Alta Vista and Excite that enable users to search for documents on the World Wide Web and USENET newsgroups.

It is the ranking of a web page or website in the search engine results, for a given keyword phrase in the top 20.
